About Elizabeth Choy

• After she was being captured, she spent 193 days at the old YMCA building.

• Her selflessness made everyone admire her.

• She was awarded the Order of The British Empire in 1946 for her bravery.

• She was born in Kudat Sabah on 29 November 1910 .

• She passed away at the age of 96 in 2006 because of pancreatic cancer.
