A new year is l ik e a hill of snow-with no t a foo tmark orpath to mar its pure whiteness.

It is l ik e a sheet of artist's paper-smooth and clean, beforepe n or brush has made its transforming mark.

It is Opportunity, rich and g ol de n, f or t ho se who want tostart entirely new i n the pur su it of their particular kinds of happiness.
