Travel from Jasper to Lake Louise
Today you’ll explore both Yoho and Lake Louise national parks, visiting Moraine Lake,
Field, British Columbia, the Takkakaw Falls and the Spiral Tunnels. The tunnels were
built out of necessity, due in part to the deep valleys and towering peaks that caused a
problem for the Canadian Pacific Railway traversing the area in the 1800’s. The tracks
(while having been updated) are still used by trains today, and you may witness one
lumbering along from one of many viewpoints. Accommodations are at the Fairmont

Today is both a sightseeing and a travel day, as you make your way from Jasper to
