WHAT DO YOU WANT FOR CHRISTMAS?
A poem from a couple who have too much stuff. So many of you asked us (since Yuletide's drawing near) "What do you want for Christmas? What can we give you this year? If we say, "We want nothing!" you buy some-thing anyway. So here's a list of what we'd like; believe now what we say: Pajamas for a little child, food to feed the poor. Blankets for a shelter, and we ask a little bit more — Perform good deeds and let us know, or volunteer your time. These last are worth a fortune, and they needn't cost a dime. We have too many things now, vases, candles, tapes and clocks. We have our fill of garments, ties, underwear and socks. Candy is too fattening, crossword books we've more than 20. We don't need trays or plates or cups, and knickknacks we have plenty. We've no walls to hang more pictures; we have books we've not yet read; So please take what you'd spend on us and help the poor instead! Just send a Christmas card to us and tell us what you've done; We'll open them on Christmas Eve, and read them one by one. It won't cost as much for postage as a package sent would do, You'll need no wrapping paper, ribbons, ink or glue. And we'll thank God you listened to what we had to say, So we could be the instruments to help someone this way.

2019 SUNDAY ENVELOPES
The 2019 Sunday Envelopes are available for pick up in the church. Please continue to use your 2018 enve-lopes until the end of this year.
As your envelope number may have changed for 2019, please use envelopes only for the year that they are intended. This helps to ensure that your donations are recorded accurately.
Assigning of envelopes is computerized and based on the frequency of usage. If you were not assigned a box of envelopes for 2019 and you would like one, please phone the parish office at 604-936-2525. The parish office will gladly provide it to you.

at the Fatima Centre Gym 315 Walker Street, Coquitlam
Our play-based, enriched 3 and 4-year-old programs of-fer an introduction to French, early literacy, math & com-puter skills, art & science programs, field trips, cooking, & lots of play to enhance social skills. The children who complete our program will be prepared for a French Im-mersion or an English kindergarten program. A Christ Our Life Religion program is also introduced in the 4-year-old program. When you come to register, please bring:
• Your child’s birth certificate
• Health care card
• Immunization records
• Doctor’s name & phone number
• Dentist’s name & phone number
• Emergency contacts – names & phone numbers
• A $50 Application fee

PRE-AUTHORIZED DONATIONS
Is Pre-Authorized donation an option for you? You may choose a monthly automatic debit to your bank account as an alternative to the weekly Sunday Collection and Building Fund donation envelopes.
The withdrawal will come out on the 1st of every month based on the information in your signed Pre-Authorized Do-nation (PAD) form. Please note that special collections are not included in the agreement.
Submit your form in a sealed envelope and drop it in the collection basket or directly at the parish office. Forms received by January 20th will start on February 1st. MONTHLY EUCHARISTIC ADORATION - INTENSIVE PRAYER
The Matthew 7.7 Prayer Brigade, a prayer warriors group of the Office of the Filipino Ministry (http://rcav.org/Filipino-Ministry) gather month-to-month in different parishes for Intensive Prayer with Scriptural Rosaries during a 3-hour Eucharistic Adoration.
This month’s will be on January 13, 2019 (Sunday), 2:00-5:00 pm, at Guardian Angels, 1161 Broughton St., Vancouver. Prayers are in English and invitation is for all to unite ourselves in prayer and sacrifice for the sanctifica-tion of the ordained ministry and consecrated persons, for the renewal and strengthening of the Catholic Church in all levels, for our families, for healing of illnesses and of broken relationships, for justice and peace in the world, for intentions of families in our Archdio-cese.
Petitions and Thanksgiving boxes are provided and will be brought to the Blessed Sacrament before start of the Adoration.
