Sophia Sham | Associate, Valuation and Advisory, BSc (Hons) MSc MRICSSophia joined C&W in January 2017 and has spent the last five years working in the healthcare sector, providing valuation and consultancy advice across a range of assets including care homes (elderly and specialist) and retirement properties.
Gary Yeardley | Associate, Valuation and Advisory, BSc (Hons) MRICSSince commencing his career in 2007, Gary has spent several years specialising in Healthcare brokerage, valuation and advisory. He has advised and worked on behalf of many of the leading private health and social care providers, charities, various REITs, private individuals and public sector providers. Gary also works for the RICS as an APC assessor and mentor in commercial property and valuation.
Nick West | Senior Analyst, Investment, BSc (Hons) MSc MRICSNick joined the Healthcare department of C&W as a Senior Analyst in August 2017, having qualified as a Chartered Surveyor at NHS Property Services. He has worked in various departments, including Acquisition and Disposals, Lease Advisory, Property Management and, most recently, Evaluation and Analytics.
Fergus Forsyth | Surveyor, Markets & Agency, BSc (Hons) MSc MRICSFergus joined C&W on the graduate scheme in September 2014 and has three years commercial experience. He acts on behalf of landlords and healthcare tenants in acquiring and disposing of commercial property. He also undertakes acquisitions and disposals of sites for private hospital occupiers.
Sam Gadar | Surveyor, Valuation and Advisory, BSc MSc MRICSSam qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in November 2017, having carried out his training in the Valuation & Advisory and Investment departments of Cushman and Wakefield. Prior to this he studied Management at Cass Business School and Real Estate Development at the University of Westminster.
Evi Georgadidis | Team Assistant,Markets & Agency Evi joined C&W in September 2017 following the merger of DKAhp into the C&W’s Healthcare Markets team, having worked with David Kerr for four years. She works closely with individual Clinicians and landlords on the Harley Street Medical Area (HSMA) and manages the small suite medical requirements and acquisitions in central London.

Martin Robb | Partner, Valuation and Advisory, BSc FRICS Martin joined C&W in April 2016 and has more than 20 years continuous experience in the UK healthcare market. For several years he was the author of the RICS on-line valuation tool, I-Surv, for care homes. Over the years Martin has been involved in many of the largest portfolios in the sector whether as trading going concerns or investments. His remit at C&W is to grow the healthcare service line both within valuations and transactions.
James Hanson | Partner, Investment, BSc MRICS James joined in November 2016 from JLL where he was a Lead Director and Head of Healthcare Investment and brings 20 years of experience. He has recently completed a host of deals including an acquisition of two care home investments for c£20 million, the sale and acquisition of two private hospitals, the sale of a £30 million care home portfolio; bought and sold primary care investments, and renegotiated terms on a hospital prior to taking it to market. James is a recognised national specialist in healthcare as his string of successful deals demonstrates.
Tom Robinson | Partner, Valuation and Advisory, BA (Hons) MSc MRICS Tom joined C&W in June 2016 and has more than 10 years continuous experience in the UK healthcare market, advising the majority of UK lenders on trading healthcare assets across the country, in addition to a range of operators, developers and investors.
David Kerr | Partner, Markets & Agency, BSc (Hons) MRICSIn September 2017, David joined C&W following the merger of DKAhp into the C&W’s Healthcare Markets team, having more than 38 years experience in the Central London and UK Commercial Property markets. Since 2005 David has focused on the Healthcare Property, concentrating on Hospital and Clinic delivery, on behalf of Operators, Landlords and Developers, advising and representing a wide variety of clients, including the Howard de Walden Estate, The Calthorpe Estate, Battersea Power Station, NHS Foundation Trusts and a wide range of private operators, including, Circle, Optegra, Re:cognition and Isokinetics.
Henry Harris | Partner, Valuation and Advisory, BSc MRICSHenry joined C&W in February 2018 and has worked continuously in the care home and retirement living sectors since 1997. He acts for lenders, operators, developers and investors across the UK. Prior to C&W, Henry worked at Lambert Smith Hampton and Edward Symmons, where he was an Equity Partner and Head of Healthcare.
Craig Lygate | Partner, Valuation and Advisory, BSc (Hons) MRICSIn March 2018, Craig joined as a Partner in the Healthcare Valuation & Advisory team, based in Glasgow and covering all of Scotland. He has 14 years’ experience advising on a wide range of healthcare properties including care homes, specialist homes, children’s nurseries, medical practices, pharmacies and dental practices. Craig regularly acts for the main UK lending institutions, private investors, developers and individual operators.
