OBJECTIVES- Introduce the tradition of Easter in our Islands.

CONTENT
- Easter: crespells

- Talk about the tradition of the Easter in the Balearic Islands.
- Cook the "crespells" following the recipe.

CRESPELLS

INGREDIENTS100g of lard,100 g of sugar,20 cl of olive oil,60 g of orange juice,1 egg yolk500 gr of loose flour.

How to make crespells:First of all, we have to mix the olive oil and the lard (pork fat) using your hands. Try to dissolve the lard until the mix is creamy. Add the rest of the ingredients except the flour and mix again until the mix is homogeneous.

Finally we add the flour and then we knead the dough. Next we spread the dough (it must be considreably thick) and afterwards we use a special cutter for crespells. We cut the pieces and the we put them in the oven for 10 or 15 minutes at 180 C, or we can take them out of the oven when they are already brown.

60 g. OF ORANGE JUICE

EGG YOLK

500 g. OF LOOSE FLOUR
