CQI and IRCA Certified Training is a new portfolio that offers a range of training on quality and auditing topics at different levels. This portfolio combines the knowledge and capability requirements of the CQIs two membership brands, CQI and IRCA.

What is Lean Six Sigma?

Lean Six Sigma is a process improvement programme that combines two ideas: Lean and Six Sigma. Lean is a collection of techniques for reducing the time needed to provide products or services. Six Sigma is a collection of techniques for improving the quality of products and services, contributing to increased customer satisfaction.

By combining the two, Lean Six Sigma is a proven business management strategy that helps organizations operate more efficiently.

What is IASSC Certification?

IASSC Certification is a globally recognized Lean Six Sigma Certification. IASSC has been conducting Professional Credentialing in Lean Six Sigma based on IASSC mission of bring Certification Best Practices to the industry since 2009. As of year-end 2016 more than 5000 professionals have earned an IASSC Certification. If a professional has been certified by IASSC, it means the professional has successfully demonstrated their competence in the subject matters as determined by professionally developed examinations based on the IASSC Bodies of Knowledge. Certified Professionals are issued a Certificate (Electronic or Hard Copy) along with a Certification Number, added to the Official IASSC Certification Register and granted the right to use the IASSC Certification Marks and Titles; as professional designation which may be used in resumes and public profiles such as LinkedIn, consistent with the IASSC Marks Use Policy.

What is an IASSC Lean Six Sigma exam?

There are three levels of exams developed by IASSC; Black Belt (ICBB), Green Belt (ICGB) and Yellow Belt_ (ICYB). These are designed to measure a person’s knowledge based on the IASSC Universally Accepted Lean Six Sigma Body of Knowledge. The ILSSBOK is the results of research that was conducted over a two-year period, with input from over 1,000 companies, such as HP and British Telecom.

How many times can I retake the exams?

IASSC™ Examinations cannot be taken more than once within a 2-week period and cannot be taken more than a total of three times with a 3-month period.

What is the minimum achievable score for IASSC Examinations?

In order to successfully achieve IASSC Certification and/or Recertification Professionals must achieve a minimum score point equivalency of 70%

NEBOSH IOGC International Technical Certificate in Oil & Gas Operational Safety

This qualification is for those working in the oil and gas (or related) industries, who need to gain a sound understanding of the principles of operational health and safety that apply in their specialist area.

For some, the International Oil and Gas Certificate can be an important step towards establishing a lifelong professional career in occupational health and safety. Some who take their International Oil and Gas Certificate progress on to one of our Diploma level qualifications.

NEBOSH strongly recommend that you should already have an underpinning knowledge of health and safety issues prior to taking the course equivalent to the NEBOSH International or National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.

The NEBOSH Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety covers one main unit (IOG1) entitled ‘Management of international oil and gas operational safety’.

The key topics covered by the qualification are:

• Hazards inherent in the extraction, storage and processing of raw materials and products

• Hydrocarbon process safety • Risk management techniques used in the oil and gas industries • Contractor management • Fire and explosion controls in the oil and gas industries • Marine and Land logistics

This unit is divided into the following five key elements:

NEBOSH PSM NEBOSH HSE Certificate in Process Safety Management

People from all around the world who work in process industries such as oil and gas, chemicals, plastics and pharmaceuticals.

Ideal for managers, safety representatives and health and safety advisors working within the process industries, both inside and outside the UK.

It is not designed for chemical and process safety engineers experienced in the specification, design and maintenance of process plant.

It is recommended that learners should already have an underpinning knowledge of health and safety issues, and many will have gained another NEBOSH qualification.

The NEBOSH HSE Certificate in Process Safety Management is designed to cover a range of issues affecting process industries.

NEBOSH EC Certificate in Environmental Management

This qualification is for anyone who needs to gain a sound understanding of the principles of environmental management and is relevant for both UK and international markets.

For some, the NEBOSH Environmental Certificate is a crucial first step towards establishing a lifelong professional career in environmental management. Many who take their Environmental Certificate progress on to a NEBOSH Environmental Diploma.

Around two thirds of health and safety practitioners now have environmental management as part of their overall day-to-day responsibilities at work. The knowledge and understanding gained from the NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management can help you if you have these responsibilities.

The qualification covers the practical issues of managing environmental risk. The syllabus takes a risk management approach, based around best practice and international industry standards, including:

• Environmental Management Systems and aspect identification • Sources and use of energy and energy efficiency • Control of pollution • Planning for and dealing with environmental emergencies.

Learners will learn how to carry out an environmental review of the workplace and prepare a report to management regarding the review with recommendations for improvement.

The NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management consists of two units, each separately assessed:

• EC1: Management and control of environmental hazards • EC2: Environmental practical application

No previous environmental management knowledge is required. Learners should note that the assessment includes a requirement to write a short report.

Learners are assessed with a 2-hours written examination for the taught unit, EC1. There is also a practical assessment for unit EC2, designed to help you apply your learning at work and add value for your employer. This must normally be taken within 10 working days of the written examination.

HABC COSHH L2 Level 2 Award in the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (RQF)

The importance of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations cannot be overlooked, nor the importance of an employee holding a COSHH qualification. For instance, thousands of individuals are made ill each year as a direct result of substances that are hazardous to health.

HABC Risk Assessment L3 Level 3 Award in Risk Assessment (RQF)

Risk assessment is an essential step in helping to protect employees and businesses.

An effective risk assessment requires an inspection of the workplace to identify potential risks that could cause harm. As part of the risk assessment, it will then be determined whether sufficient controls are in place to minimise these risks.

HABC FS L4 Level 4 Award in Food Safety Management for Manufacturing (RQF)

The law requires that all food handlers need to be trained according to their food handling work activities. Should an employee achieve a Highfield food safety qualification, which is suitable for the work they do, it will assist food business operators in proving that they have displayed due diligence and are therefore compliant in the eyes of the law.

On obtaining a Highfield food safety qualification, employees who handle food will gain a firm grasp of the importance of food hygiene and knowledge of the systems, techniques and procedures involved. Furthermore, those individuals that have successfully completed a food hygiene course will have the confidence and expertise to deliver quality food safely to customers. Highfield's food safety qualifications are intended for anyone working in catering, hospitality or manufacturing settings where food hygiene is essential as food is prepared, cooked, served or produced. Typical environments may include pubs, hotels, restaurants, retail, factories, contract catering, fast-food outlets, hospitals, care and nursing homes, schools, prisons and the armed forces.


The objective of this qualification is to prepare learners for employment in a food or drink manufacturing environment role, or to support a role in the workplace.

The qualification is intended for those whose job requires them to have some responsibility for food safety. Learners are likely to have management responsibilities for an operational team.


The total qualification time for this qualification is 60 hours, of which 40 are recommended as guided learning hours.

This qualification covers the subject of food hygiene at a suitable depth to ensure learners have a thorough knowledge of hazards and controls; its focus is on the importance of developing, implementing and monitoring food safety procedures.

This qualification is assessed by multiple-choice and written examination.

HABC HACCP L4 Level 4 Award in HACCP for Management (CODEX Principles) (RQF)

HACCP stands for hazard analysis and critical control point, which is a systematic, preventive approach to food safety and allergenic, chemical, and biological hazards in production processes that can cause the finished product to be unsafe. It also involves implementing measures to reduce these risks to a safe level. It is essential that all food sector organisations implement a food-safety management system based on the codex principles of HACCP. Although HACCP was originally designed for manufacturing, it is now also applicable to the catering and retail industries.

Highfield's HACCP qualifications are suitable for both food handlers and supervisors working in most food operations. Highfield is the only awarding organisation to offer the Level 4 International Award in Managing HACCP for Catering. The achievement of a Highfield HACCP qualification will give learners a firm understanding of the principles of HACCP and ensure the cost-effective implementation of a food-safety management system. This will ultimately reduce the risk of food poisoning and food complaints.


The Highfield Level 4 Award in HACCP for Management (CODEX Principles) (RQF) is aimed at learners who are working at a management level within food manufacturing and catering environments, quality assurance staff or members of the HACCP team. The qualification would also be useful for trainers, auditors, enforcers and other food safety professionals.


The total qualification time (TQT) for this qualification is 40 hours and of this 30 are recommended as guided learning hours (GLH).

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Booking Policy

1. On confirmation of booking for individuals, full payment must be received before commencement of the course. Fees paid are non-refundable (refer to transfer/cancellation policy).

2. Bookings reserved for delegates outside Egypt must be accompanied by Bank transfer (refer to bank transfer details overleaf).

3. Course fees include instruction materials, notepads, articles, pen/pencils, exams, certificates, and coffee & lunch breaks during the course. Accommodation and Transportations are not included in the “Course Fees”.

4. Invoices raised on company accounts, must be paid as per terms and conditions stated on invoice. Failure will result in withholding of course or results/certificates.

5. For trainees who have attended one or more of our training programs, they receive a (QA Reward Points) which enables them to register in further courses with discounted rates. This Points is valid for a year ONLY from its issuing date and could be extended as the trainee attends further trainings.

6. Delegates are responsible for payment of their own accommodation/flights/local transportation and reservations. 7. Attendance limit is 80% out of course duration, is the student exceeded the attendance limit; his registration will be

canceled, and no even attendance certificates will be issued. 8. The final project (if required) should be provided at its specific dates, failed to so that will cause your cancelation from

your course, even you were pass at the final examination. 9. As soon as the course certificates are issued, they will be sent to delegates in the same training venue’s city, where

the course was delivered FREE OF CHARGE. For other trainees who are resident outside this city, QA can send the certificate to their desired venue, but delivery fees will be charged to the trainee.

10. Extra fees may be applied for shipping certificates out of the city of where the course has been held. 11. Issued Certificates should be received by student maximum by 12 months from the notification date. 12. Video and Audio recording is not allowed within the training rooms.

Amendment Policy

• QA reserves the right to change the published prices of any course programmes or materials or any course contents without prior notice.

• QA reserves the right to cancel/postpone a course at any time without liability. In this case, delegates will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of the course fees.

• QA reserves the right to change the venue or the course facilitator at any time, if needed.

Cancelation Policy All cancellations must be confirmed in writing to QA

§ 14 or more working days* prior to the start date, 100% of the course fees will be refunded; § 08-14 working days* prior to the start date, 50% of the course fee will be refunded; § 07 working days* or less/before the start of the course, no refund.

(*) Please note that in the Egypt working days are from Sunday to Thursday

Transfer Policy

There will be no additional charge if an alternate/substitute person wishes to replace the original delegate. Please inform us in writing of any changes to the original booking. However, if a delegate fails to attend the course, the fee remains payable.

Dress Code inside Training Rooms

We ask delegates to wear smart casual clothing to a training course; but it’s advised for classic clothing at the last day for group pictures taken at the end of each course. Shorts and/or Slippers are NOT allowed inside our training rooms.
