(Fake) friends with (Real) benefitsI paid $5 for 4,000 Twitter followers, and here’s what I found
This is a network graph representation of my Twitter followers after I acquired the bots. The top cluster represents my “real” followers, who are intertwined, many follow each other, clearly a community of users. While the bottom purple region represents the fake accounts, who are completely separate — structurally they’re clearly not a real community, with very little connectivity between the accounts.
