Dr. Clark is proud to announce the launch of a new technology that allows patients to envision their desired aesthetic outcome – well in advance of any surgery. Our practice is the only provider in the heart of downtown Winter Park offering the VECTRA simulation tool, which harnesses recent advances in 3-D photography to give patients a preview of the look they’ll achieve through breast augmentation and facial procedures such as rhinoplasty.

Using the VECTRA software, Dr. Clark’s experienced clinical staff creates a model based on each patient’s individual measurements and body type – then simulates the expected results of each procedure. For instance, patients can see the effect of combining complementary services – such as a breast lift and augmentation – or which type of rhinoplasty will most enhance the overall appearance of their face.

The model can be rotated to any viewpoint to provide a realistic idea of how a finished procedure will appear from all angles. Then, patients consult with Dr. Clark regarding any desired changes and agree on a final look before their surgeries.

Living in the Sunshine State has its perks, but harmful rays can do a number on the skin – even for people with diligent sunscreen regimens. Now, patients at the Orlando Aesthetic Institute have another option for erasing years’ worth of spots, fine lines and wrinkles – as well as enlarged pores and scars from acne and chicken pox – while experiencing less pain and downtime.

The Sciton Halo, the world’s first and only hybrid fractional laser, debuted at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology in Denver in spring 2014, and Orlando Aesthetic Institute is among the first practices in the country offering it to patients.

The beauty of the Halo is that it simultaneously delivers “non-ablative” and “ablative” wavelengths. An ablative laser is one of the most effective anti-aging treatments. By removing the outer,

damaged layers, the skin is forced to increase collagen production and restructure – making way for a tighter, rejuvenated appearance.

A less invasive treatmentA non-ablative laser treatment is less

invasive, making it popular with patients who need to return to their everyday lives immediately afterward. The Halo combines both laser wavelengths to deliver the results of an ablative procedure with minimal healing time.

The procedure takes between 2 and 2½ hours. While every patient has different needs in terms of sun damage, the Sciton Halo calculates the exact amount of energy necessary for an effective treatment with precise, even results.
