As part of the reforms in higher education, the department has come out with a roadmap for ICT initiatives titled Jnana Sangama to facilitate ease of administration and academic reach for students in Karnataka. The main objective of Jnana Sangama is to provide end-to-end digital solution from admission to completion of education, covering all functions of the department.

introductionJnana Sangama 2016 - national convention on higher education intends to bring together a galaxy of leaders in the higher education space from across the globe to share their best practices & experiences creating an unprecedented confluence on higher education.

genesisThe Department of Higher Education, Government of Karnataka is undertaking a large number ICT initiatives aimed at bringing large scale reforms in administer-ing quality education and good content delivery under the aegis of Jnana Sangama initiative. The proposed congregation has thereby been convened to share the global best practices, experiments and advancements with a special focus on the Karnataka initiative - Jnana Sangama.
