Today we celebrate All Saints’ Day; may those who have gone before us speak to us of faithful endurance that we might be strengthened on our journey of faith today. We confess to you, O God, that we cannot do it alone. We need you, we need each other, and we need the good testimony of our forefathers and foremothers. May we live our lives in such a way that our faith might be a witness to future generations. May our hearts and minds be aligned with your will, your purposes, and your joy for us and the world. Renew us by your merciful love that we might live our days as your true sons and daughters.
