Sunday 10th February 2013 Transfiguration
PREPARATION FOR WORSHIP...(The words below are a short prayer which may be used by
individuals before worship, offering an opportunity to preparefor worship. And while the cares and concerns of family, lifeand the world are brought with us to worship, we prepareourselves to share our joy and burden in God’s presence.)
O Lord our God, your glory fills our place of worship, yet we would draw near by your grace.
O Lord our God, you are high above us and holy, yet you dwell with those who are humble in heart.
O Lord our God, your eyes are purer than to beholdour evil, yet you cleanse and forgive us through Christ.
And so we draw near with confidencelonging to find your mercy and your help.
AMEN.
