Describe the relationship between oral inflammation and systemic conditions Understand how to determine the dental future of the older adult. Discuss prevention strategies in managing the oral health of older adults in the dental office. Presenter: Lisa L. Knowles, D.D.S., Intentional Dental Consulting Dental Professionals: Participants who attend the entire session and complete an evaluation online will receive a certificate for 1.0 contact hours. This program is accredited by the Michigan Center for Rural Health (MCRH). MCRH is an approved Board of Dentistry (MBOD) Provider Program – # 299150014.This approval is valid from April 2015 through November 2018. Nurses- Participants who attend the entire session and complete an evaluation form will receive a certificate for 1.0 contact hours. Michigan State University College of Nursing is approved as a provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
