About Literary Criticism:

Literary Criticism falls into two different categories: Objective and Subjective.

Objective Criticism is a review that merely reports the facts without any personal feelings attached to them.

Subjective criticism is the review which heavily involves the reviewers personal feelings and ideas so that it is extremely personal.

Your Assignment

• Choose a film that interest you but preferably NOT one that you have seen before.

• Read the book that the film is based on and then watch the film.

• Directly after watching the film, use the provided worksheet to brainstorm ideas for your blog.

• You will then write an objective and subjective essay/blog following the criteria I have set up for you and publish your blog at the pre-created website.
