Optimizing your browser and adding trusted sites allows data to flow seamlessly between the NaviNet® web portal (NaviNet Open) and your office. In order to ensure that transactions, including Cash Management, EFT Attestation and Registration, and the soon to be released Authorizations transaction, work seamlessly, users will need to have certain Independence Blue Cross (Independence)-required URLs listed as trusted URLs in their browser’s trusted site set-up.

We encourage you to share this guide with your IT department and work with them to optimize your browser and add trusted sites. We ask that users review their current trusted site set-up and update as necessary.

This guide describes how to optimize your browser and add trusted sites to: • Internet Explorer®

‒ Turn off compatibility mode ‒ Optimize Internet options ‒ Optimize security Internet options ‒ Adding trusted sites ‒ Optimize privacy Internet options ‒ Optimize content Internet options ‒ Optimize advanced Internet options

• Google ChromeTM ‒ Note: Google Chrome automatically uses Internet Explorer’s settings to connect to the

Internet. ‒ Clear browsing history

• Mozilla Firefox® ‒ Optimize Internet options (Adding trusted sites) ‒ Optimize advanced Internet options

• Safari® ‒ Optimize preferences ‒ Add trusted sites

Note: Microsoft Edge does not allow for trusted sites. To avoid potential issues, we recommend using alternative web browsers. For the Authorizations transaction, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome are the optimal browsers.
