Research, Development and Final OutcomesEsther Walker
I was set a brief to design for London Design Museum’s Optical Nerve Exhibition I was asked to design a poster, projection, stickers and a Key ring.
Target audience would be 18 – 55 year old male an femaleStudents or professionals, anyone wanting a walk down memory lane too.
Fashion of the times
Lots of bold colours but black and white made a bold statement! Symetrical patterns on clothes and symetrical haircuts were all the rage

Here are some ideas i have made using Photoshop and Illustrator
Here i have tryed out some logos/icons for the stickers and keyring i am going to make.
A few ideas of t-shirt designs and trying to figure out which colours looked best A case of trial and error until i found what works
This section i looked into some heavy pattered backgrounds as i wanted to have a bold simple pattern as my main theme
These are a few of my Favourite posters the bottom left hand on is probably the most famous an has greatly inspired my finial outcome.
Here are a few sticker designs that gave me inspiration for my final designs
Here are a few of the ideas i was playing around with these didnt make the cut for the final idea but i liked the idea of The circles around the person.
Here are the final designs i made, at this point i have narrowed it down to one syle i feel works best on all products. I now go and produce the items you see here.

Keyring
This is what the projection will look like when on the building
This is the part where I tell you how well I’ve done and any problems I have encountered
I covered and met the outcomes I needed to, to develop my idea fully I was finished ahead of time. I managed to use things I have learnt in other classes in this project which has helped me. I am pleased with my final pieces but wish i had a bit more money and time to develop more pieces.
Feel free to have a look at my sketchbook for more developmentand ideas
