Children can bring non-perishable foods such as tins or packets into school. These contributions will go to the Salvation Army, a charity that helps vulnerable people across the city.

OPENING OF THE EARLY YEARS PLAYGROUND On Wednesday 10th October the Early Years Playground was officially opened by Councillor Gruen, our Chair of Governors. A big thank you to the Early Years Team who have worked tirelessly to ensure the provision is of the highest quality. It was lovely to see so many of you coming to visit the outdoor learning today, I am sure you will agree, the playground looks amazing and the children are thoroughly enjoying using it.

NURSERY AND RECEPTION OPEN DAY Our first Nursery and Reception open day will be held on Tuesday 23rd October from 9:30am.

YOUNG INTERPRETERS Thank you for all the applications to become a Young Interpreter. The following children have been selected for training: Bahir Shiraz, Tanisha Alam, Ishaa Ali, Lutfil Ulul Llmi, Miradi Nzondo, Isabella Paum, Maria Calin, Adam Barbar, Aaminah Rehman and Estera Ciuca. It is anticipated that the training will be completed in two weeks and parents will be invited to a celebratory assembly.

STARLIGHT Thank you for all your generous donation of clothing for the Starlight charity. We collected 106kg of clothing, which raised £31.80.

START OF THE DAY Please can all parents, who bring their child to school, make sure they stay with them until they are in their classes line.

100% ATTENDANCE Congratulations to Rowling, Riordan and Walliams class who had 100% attendance this week. Congratulations to Rayhan Mahmoods mum who won an Asda shopping voucher this week for his 100% attendance.
