Open Access Initiative
MSAKE
formed in 2007 for the major purpose of Health
Advocacy and Expansion of the Kenyan
medical student's academic and career space
by improving collaborations between the
students both locally and internationally.
IFMSA
MSAKE is a national member organization of
the International Federation of Medical
Students Association (IFMSA)
OPEN ACCESS INITIATIVE
Started in 2011 by a group of medical students,
who were inspired after attending IFMSA
meeting sessions on Open Access.
Works in partnership and its activities are
sponsored with the Electronic Information for
Libraries(EIFL) in Kenya, Right to Research
Coalition and INASP(International Network for
the Availability of Scientific Publications).
