There is huge difference between people's data and...
It depends on the dataset but generally the data is not secure and is owned by the public and any information insight benefits the public(not concerned)
Can see the risks of data being reidentified (very concerned)
Not at all concerned. The data is OPEN! How can we determine how it is/should be used?
Not putting it out there limits its potential. (Not concerned)
Very concerned dont know how privacy may be impacted by adding multiple data sets together
(Not at all concerned) open licensing is part of my job
Depends on how data gets used
Need collaborative approach to stop accidental release
Not concerned innovation comes with a level of risk
Repercussions have not been realised yet (slightly concerned)
It was the most logical way to answer it
Data combined with other info may reidentify an individual.
Not concerned because there are great managers who love cleaning up the mess misuse of our data makes... :)
I'm concerned about misuse but not concerned because I thing they make up what they can't easily find
Personal info is not on release
Everyone should have access to quality data (neutral)
(Slightly concerned): Open Data has many benefits and belongs to the public... but there is always risk security, privacy, etc.
Slightly sensitive data should not be made available
Privacy/reidentification/lack of privacy preservation tools (V.Concerned)
Not Concerned Data should be made public
(Neutral) have no evidence yet to be concerned or not concerned
Personal perspective. (Not concerned)
Slightly concerned people might use our data in an unethical way & the media will blame the politicians or public servants.
(Extremely concerned) depends on the data set personally identifiable information can be misused
Not concerned we know what is in the data.
Neutral because it depends on context
It is open data = open use
Public data belongs to the public
Neutral because there is not much happening yet. Time will tell
