The expanded distance
learning program is being
offered to provide families
with the opportunity to limit
social contacts to mitigate
viral transmission. Therefore,
students selecting this
program shall not be enrolled
in on campus in-person
courses.
AS SES SM E NTS :
Students shall be expected to
take assessments once a
week on campus in
designated assessment
spaces away from other
students. Each school will
need to identify such social
distancing spaces and
develop a process for
proctoring, assuming not all
teachers will be working from
campus. Students who are
unable to come to school and
take assessments shall be
expected to take
assessments following
guidelines set by the
assigned teacher.
GRADING:
Students shall be assigned
letter grades.
Online Distance Learning Program
The health and safety of students and staff is the top priority when making the decision to physically reopen school campuses for use by students, staff, and others. To further support students who may be at increased risk of becoming infected with COVID-19 or live in a household with someone who is at increased risk of becoming infected with COVID-19, the District created an Online Distance Learning Program. This new distance learning program will require considerable parent engagement.
Enrollment deadline: July 10, 2020 Questions? Please contact your student's counselor at your home site.
