GENERAL NOTES

Situation Green Lane at Whitgreave has excellent access via the main A34 and lies nearly equidistant between Stafford and Stone. From Stone pick up the A34 towards Stafford and travel up Yarlet Bank passing the school entrance on the left and past the Greyhound Public House. Approximately ½ mile past the pub turn right signposted Whitgreave Lane. Continue up Whitgreave Lane for a 1/3 mile and turn first right into Green Lane (dead end sign). No 13 Holding is the first farm on the left after approximately ¼ mile. All sale goers beware the A34 is an extremely fast travelling road and in order to turn into Whitgreave Lane when travelling from Stone you must approach via the right hand lane-please be vigilant to minimise risk of traffic accidents. From the M6 and Stafford (Junction 14 Stafford North) pick up the A34 signposted towards Stone. Travel through the traffic lights and after ½ mile Whitgreave Lane lies on the left. Turn into Whitgreave Lane and after a 1/3 mile take the first lane right into Green Lane with No 13 Holding lying up the lane on the left after approximately ¼ mile.

‘To the Sale’ and ‘Car Park’ signs will be erected on the morning of the sale.

VAT on Export Goods – Under regulations imposed by HM Customs & Excise, the auctioneers must account in a proper manner for VAT on export goods. Therefore, any customers who have no trading pattern record with the auctioneers must pay all VAT on the purchase price of goods on sale day. On receipt of all relevant export documentation and bills of laden (which must be received in the prescribed time limits), the auctioneers will then refund relevant VAT sums.

Buyers Premium – No buyers premium will be payable at this sale.

Telehandler Loading Facilities – Telehandler loading facilities will be available on site up until approximately 5.00pm on sale day.

Machine Hours – Machine hours have been taken as at Thursday 25th January 2018. These are given for information purposes only and are not guaranteed by the Auctioneers. Loading It is the responsibility of the purchaser to arrange for the safe loading & transport of all and any purchases. Bagshaws are under no obligation to provide assistance in loading but on occasion they will do their best to help provided that it is not putting themselves, the purchaser or other people at risk of injury. FOREWORD

Mr and Mrs Robert Fenton are now retiring from No 13 Holding having farmed there for 32 years and locals will already know that they have relinquished their Staffordshire County Council Holding Tenancy. There has been an extremely successful Pig and Beef Enterprise on the holding which at its height had over 120 sows on site together with all progeny fed through to slaughter weight. In recent years the unit has been used as a 1500 head feeding unit which has now been totally closed and is totally free of Pigs and depopulated. Many will know that the cattle have already been sold from the farm and this leaves a range of 3 tractors together with JCB telehandler and all the livestock related items for genuine sale. There are 5 bulk leg bins together with a large array of insitu spiral auger systems with the majority of all the plastic bulk pig feed hoppers having already been completely cleaned and removed immediate ready for loading after purchase. This is a genuine retirement dispersal and purchasers should attend and bid at the many and varied lots.
