We’re thrilled that you’ve decided to join the fun this Big Yellow Friday!
Big Yellow Friday is all about Shining a Light on childhood liver disease by raising vital awareness of these overlooked and forgotten conditions and by raising much needed funds to help those affected.
This fundraising pack will provide everything you need to make your fundraising event a huge success. There are Big Yellow Friday resources and branded materials available online and in the post, to help your event shine brightly. The Fundraising Team are also on hand for any top tips or advice you may need.
We have also included ways you can spread the word about Big Yellow Friday and light up your own social media with Big Yellow Friday fun.

“When we were told that our son, Hugo had the rare liver disease, biliary atresia, it felt like the end of the world.
It wasn’t until he was 12 months old that I felt ready to face up to the fact that Hugo had a lifelong liver condition and call CLDF.
When I did I felt a surge of relief. CLDF’s families officer was so kind and just listened to our journey. It was so helpful to know that if I
needed to talk to someone, I could. I remember feeling like he really listened, cared, and understood.
We have found CLDF’s information and resources really helpful and we have started going to family events too. I do value sharing experiences with other parents who have the same worries as us. I also love meeting the inspirational teenagers who are just getting on with their lives.
As Hugo grows older, he will benefit greatly from meeting other children with liver disorders just like him at the residential events which CLDF run for children and young people and continue to benefit from their invaluable support.”
