Ukraine on the Olympic Games

• Ukraine on the Olympic Games for the first time participated by separate command in 1994 on the winter games , and since then, participates on all summer and winter games. Thus far, Ukrainian athletes participated in the composition of the team of the Soviet Union from 1952 through 1988, and after the proclamation of the independence of the Ukraine, in 1992 in the composition Of the command. In the years of existence Ukrainian command earned 96 medals on the summer games and 5 on the winter. The national Olympic committee of the Ukraine was formed into 1990, and it was acknowledged by the International Olympic Committee into 1993.
