The marine(water) biome is a massive biome that covers most of the world. 3 quarters of the world is ocean, making the marine biome huge.The average temperature is about 3 to 4 degrees Celsius. Above water is usually icy and windy, out in the open sea it is choppy or huge waves.

Some plants in marine are: Crazy amounts of coral, mangroves, weeds, moss, algae, saltwater fern, water lily, heaps of types of seaweed, and many, many more.

Some animals are: Seals, whale, catfish, lionfish, barracuda, barramundi, parrotfish, Murray cod, shark, goldfish, plankton, box jellyfish, bluebottle, and billions more.

This is an example of the food chain.

Weed Turtle Shark

The barracuda is an interesting fish that has heaps of huge teeth and its body is kind of long and skinny with a sort of cone nose. It has a big tail and a couple more fins on its body.

Red Cichlid Fish

The barracuda is a fish that doesn’t usually get eaten by other animals but maybe the odd shark or big fish. Other than that it wouldn’t get eaten.

Some dangers for the barracuda are probably rubbish and pollution. People like fishing so another would be people fishing for them. Plus getting eaten by other animals or humans!
