RACE TIMINGS

The Disneyland® Paris 5K and 10K races are not timed, no race results will be provided.

The Disneyland® Paris-Val d’Europe Half Marathon will be timed using a system for calculating times. This system will

be located at the finish line. When you receive your bib, your electronic chip (time-keeping) will be fixed to the back of

it. You must not remove, fold, cut or crease the bib chip, as your time cannot be recorded without it. The chip records

your official and your net time. The net time is the time it takes you to run from the start line to the finish line. This

determines the prize rankings.

• If you need to stop, please raise your hand and move to the right of the roadway. If you want to overtake someone,

space for the next runners.

• Please move aside if someone behind you says “Excuse me” or “Look out behind”.

FOR YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY

• Complete the medical emergency form on the back of your bib.

• Make sure you drink enough – whenever you feel thirsty.

• Recognise the symptoms of heatstroke. Run responsibly and don’t be afraid to ask others for help.

• Come to the aid of your fellow runners. If you see someone in difficulty, tell them what we’ve told you. If the person

refuses to stop, give their bib number to one of the volunteers along the route.

• Tell your friends and family what your bib number is so that they can find you if you are accompanied to an aid

station.

• Listen to the weather forecast and appropriate instructions. Heatstroke and hyponatremia can be life-threatening.

• Areas of skin prone to chafing (nipples, thighs and armpits etc.) need to be well lubricated with a non water-soluble

lubricant (Vaseline).

• Make sure that your footwear and clothes are appropriate for the event and adapted to the weather conditions.

ALEX’S LEMONADE STAND FOUNDATION

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra

“Alex” Scott (1996-2004). In 2000, 4-year-old Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money

to help find a cure for all children with cancer. Since Alex held that first stand, the Foundation bearing her name has

evolved into a national fundraising movement, complete with thousands of supporters across the country carrying

on her legacy of hope. To date, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 charity based in the USA,

has raised more than $150 million toward fulfilling Alex’s dream of finding a cure, funding over 800 pediatric cancer

research projects nationally. In addition, ALSF provides support to families affected by childhood cancer through

programmes such as Travel For Care and SuperSibs. For more information on Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, visit

AlexsLemonade.org.

THE runDisney SOLIDARITY PROGRAMME

To make every stride count, the runDisney solidarity programme gives you the opportunity to support Dreams Come

True and Alex’s Lemonade when you participate in the Disneyland® Paris Magic Run Weekend.

DREAMS COME TRUE

"Dreams Come True" is a UK children's charity. Our mission is quite simply to enrich the lives of children and youngsters
