Honorable Council Members:
I respectfully request that the St. Louis County Council take the necessaiy legislativeaction to accept donated items valued at $12,626 for the benefit of the Department of HumanServices’ operation of the Kathy J. Weinman Shelter.
These donationswere received duringthe ?rst quarter of 2021. The donations includewomen’s and children’sclothingand toiletriesvalued at $11,355, infant formula and cerealvalued at $400, and general operating suppliesvaluedat $871. These donations were providedby multiple individuals,companies,and regional organizations.
These donationswill greatly bene?t the operations at the Weinman Shelterand, mostimportantly,the women and childrenaccessingthe Shelter and its services.The donations alsobene?t County residentsby saving tax dollarexpenditureson these items.Detailed,itemized listsof the donationsare includedin the attachment.Your considerationis greatly appreciated.

Weinman Shelter. These donations provide clothing, transportationassistance,new equipmentand general supplies for shelter operations.
