Sub: Rebate in freight for traffic transported in privately owned wagons.

Ref: Board's Rates Circular NO.52 of 2009, 27 of 2010 and 24 of 2012 circulated videCCM/ECoR's Commercial Circular No.170(G)/09, 149(G)/2010 and 113(G)/2012 respectively.

1.0 Sanction is hereby accorded to grant rebate in freight for Caustic Soda/Caustic sodalye/Caustic Soda Liquor, Alumina, and Furnace Oil when loaded and transported in privatelyowned wagons as under:

2.0 The percentage rebate indicated above would remain in force from 01.10.2013 to 30.09.2014.

3.0 The aforesaid rebate will be applicable only to the wagons in 4 (four) pages mentionedat Annexure-I.

4.0 The rebate in case of Furnace Oil will be applicable for the stream from VZP (Le. HPCV &VZPB) to NLOD (DMNJ), as approved by the Operating Department of the Zonal Railway.

5.0 This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
