The duration of load restrictions can vary depending upon the system parameters.

Industries falling on Urban/ Mixed Urban feeders will run as per the schedule of the respective urban feeders. However PLEC should be charged from HT industries for availing the supply during peak load hours as per sales circular no. D-16/2011 and Sales Instructions no. 4/2010 or latest instructions thereof. LT industries on these feeders may be exempted from PLEC. However, the load restriction will be imposed as per system constraints.

All SEs. Operation should ensure that PRMs are displayed on every Sub-Station /Divisional office/ Sub-Divisional office/ J.E. office/ Complaint centre prominently in Hindi and English and also widely publicized through cable T.V./ Local Newspapers for the information of Public.

It may be ensured that the PRMs are strictly implemented. Strict action will be taken against the S/Station Staff & any other responsible person for any violation in the implementation of PRM.

22.08.2012, it is clarified that the special dispensation allowed during peak load hours/ industrial power cuts already withdrawn w.e.f. 31.05.2012 shall remain withdrawn till further orders. The remarks mentioned in bold letters in the aforesaid memo may be read as mentioned above and shall have retrospective effect.
