52, 53, & 54.

Begin booklet with cover and 2 complete pages.

Reading- Read 1984 Chapter 1 part V pages 49-63. Create a T chart listing the differences between life as a child in Oceania and the

average childhood in America. English- Complete Voyages workbook page 21.

Vocabulary Workshop- Complete choosing the right word for unit 4 on pages 55 & 56. Continue booklet by adding 3 more complete pages for a total of 5.

Thursday, October 13

Reading- Read 1984 part VI pages 63-69. Choose a war and write two paragraphs about its cause, the nations that fought it and

how/if it ended. Cite your sources by copying and pasting web addresses onto your document.

Print AND share. English- Complete adjective review page 28 in the textbook. Unit test on adjectives

Vocabulary Workshop- Complete synonyms and antonyms for unit 4 on pages 56 & 57.

Continue booklet by adding 3 more complete pages for a total of 8.

Friday, October 14 Reading- Read chapter 1 part VII pages 69-81.

Choose a short newspaper or magazine article. Rewrite the article, replacing one detail, person, or event with a fictional one.

English- Complete adjective review page 29 in the textbook. Unit test on adjectives Thursday, October 20.

Vocabulary Workshop- Complete "completing the sentence" for Unit 4 on pages 57 and 58. Continue booklet by adding 3 more complete pages for a total of 11.
