Octaviano LarrazolaBorn in Chihuahua, Mexico, in 1859, Octaviano Larrazola immigrated to the United States as a boy and was raised in New Mexico. A Republican from New Mexico, Larrazola was a champion of civil rights and equal treatment for Hispanic Americans. This made him popular with New Mexican voters, who would elect him to be the fourth governor of New Mexico in 1918. Ten years later, he was elected to the United States Senate, making him the first Hispanic American to serve as a U.S. Senator

Join Mock Trial!

What is Mock Trial? A mock trial is a simulated court trial that features students in the roles of attorneys, witnesses, court clerks, and bailiffs. Mock Trial is a competition from approximately 20 area schools that study a hypothetical criminal case (new each year), practice and prepare for their day(s) in court. Teams are scored by real attorneys on how effectively they present their case.

COVID Testing

Available at RCHS all week - see the COVID-19 page of our website for more info

You must be pre-registered to walk-up for testing (no appointment required).

To get pre-registered, follow the instructions on the COVID-19 page of the RCHS website.

Students cannot sign up and register. Parents must do that for them. If a student is not properly registered they will spend a lot of time at the testing location calling their parents and having them complete registration while they wait around. Students MUST BE REGISTERED before they go to test.
