this self-paced e-learning series provides fundamental knowledge for nurses in clinical practice roles, especially nurse practitioners, who wish to improve their proficiency in the area of occupational health. Nurses in a variety of practice settings deal with patients and clients whose health conditions can be attributed to exposures and hazards encountered in workplace settings. When these workers seek clinical health services, primary care providers and other clinicians may require additional training or experience to effectively manage these cases and provide the appropriate care. of primary importance is the knowledge to recognize and identify occupational health conditions, as well as to meet provider requirements in the workers’ compensation process.
