As societies live and die, they leave behind traces of their existence;
objects and artifacts of bygone times Rarely does a society live amongst
their relics; our mass consumption has granted us the opportunity to see
exactly what we are leaving behind While there is beauty in our decay,
we need to find a natural balance between our coveted goods and the
waste left in their wake

This series is a compilation of photographs taken throughout michigan
between 2010 and 2011 THese photographs are a culmination of travelled
miles, missed expiration dates, (sub)urban sprawl, planned obsolescence,
derelict lots, civic decay, and; most importantly; human waste
