Ca’ Foscari School of International Relations To whom they are addressed: The workshops are open to a group of 20 students enrolled in the Master’s Degree Programme in Comparative In- ternational Relations. Main goals The workshops, one dedicated to the Middle East Countries and one to Chi- na, are tailored for those students who would like to know the main ways to ac- cess these international labour markets and the skills required for them. The workshops will be held in Italian and English. By taking part at the workshop, stu- dents can acquire 6 curricular cre- dits that can replace those of the compulsory internship. Schedule 1st Module: Working in China /Middle East Countries: opportunities and a short analysis of their labour markets (length 4 hours) 2nd Module: What are the right skills for professional success? How can you identify your strong and weak points to increase your employability? (length 5 hours) 3rd Module: Focus on soft skills, or- ganizational and social competencies (length 4 hours) 4th Module: New strategies for job hun- ting in the international labour market: CV, cover letter and social networks (length 4 hours) 5th Module: Job assessment tests – role play of job interviews for both individual and group assessment (length 4 hours) 6th Module: What are employers in China and in Middle East Countries loo- king for?
