Faye Lewis was appointed to the position of anAdministrative Law Judge at OATH in 1991. Prior to that,she was an associate at the law firm of Obermaier,Morvillo and Abramowitz, and then she served as anAssistant Attorney General in the labor bureau of the NewYork State Department of Law. She received her Bachelorof Arts degree from Princeton University and her lawdegree from New York University School of Law.

OATH's administrative law judges are full time managerial emploappointed by the chief administrative law judge. In addition to ttchief administrative law judge, there are now eleven administratjudges. OATH's judges must k8:,7{~iinterpret and apply policies and directives for many different ag~~,and, to same extent, they make policy in their decisions. Individualand corporate interests are significantly and directly affected by the

decisions made by OATH's judges.
