ABOUT US Today's demanding business environment provides unique opportunities and challenges for firms that are skillful in design, yet pragmatic in satisfying each client's goals. We are the O2 group, LLC, is a five year old MBE Architectural firm, with an office in Allen Texas and satellite offices in Dallas and Fort Worth. The O2 group has specialized design expertise in medical, commercial, financial, restaurant, industrial, retail, residential, religious, and municipal projects. The O2 group was founded on the premise of providing functional, innovative design solutions that meet our client's unique context, program and budget requirements, incorporating best practices and green building principles. We believe architecture can positively impact our communities. MANAGEMENT Michael Orr AIA NCARB LEED AP - As Managing Principal of the O2 group LLC, overseeing all client engagements, Michael has a wealth of experience designing medical, commercial, financial, restaurant, industrial, retail, residential, religious, and municipal projects. Prior to founding the O2 group, Michael held leadership positions, including Vice President, with leading companies in real estate, governmental, retail and restaurant industries. He received a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Miami University and Bachelor of Architecture from Lawrence Technological University. Michael is a licensed architect in Texas and Oklahoma and a LEED accredited professional. Van Orr - As VP of Operations, Van is responsible for the O2 group's business operations and marketing. As a business consultant with over 25 years experience working with Fortune 500 corporations, Van has a vast knowledge of client services, budgeting and forecasting, due diligence, strategic planning, and business processes. Van received a Bachelor of Science from Southern University, and is completing coursework for an MBA at the University of Dallas. CERTIFICATIONS The O2 group has been certified as a Minority Business Enterprise by local, state and regional agencies, such as the Texas Building & Procurement Commission Historically Underutilized Business (HUB); North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (NCTRCA); and U.S. Green Building Council, Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED).
