The Ride Begins!
Day 1:Battery Park, NYC to
Waldwick, NJ: 33.8 miles

Day 2: Waldwick to Hackettstown, NJ:

Day 3: Hackettstown to Washington Crossing State Park, NJ: 62.6
miles
Day 4: Washington Crossing State Park to
Pomona Campground, NJ:
94.5 miles; Our goal: go at least 100 miles.
One of the toughest hills that we encountered on the entire trip. We hit
50 mph on the way down.
We had a bike get broken on this day.
And a person slightly broken.
But we kept riding and made our day into a century ride!
Then, we drained a few gallons of water from the campground’s hot
tub.
Day 5: Pomona Campground to
Seashore Campground, NJ: 58

Mr. White got a flat tire for the first time!
And a few broken spokes.
Day 6: Seashore Campground, NJ to
Ocean City, MD: 40.5 miles
Day 7: Ocean City to Janes Island State Park,
MD: 56.4 miles

Day 8: Janes Island State Park, MD to Bozman’s Resort, VA via Tangier
Island: 11.5 miles
We went kayaking before the ferry left.
Day 9: Bozman’s Resort to Porteus VI, VA: 55.1
miles
We had a cookout in honor of our last night
on the road.
Day 10: Porteus VI to Old Mill Park,
Fredericksburg, VA: 32 miles, The Last Day!
Some of us sprinted all the way down Route 3 at 25 mph just so we
could get the Slurpees we had been awaiting for the whole trip and
still be ahead of everyone else.
