Registered Nurses and Licensed

Practical Nurses are employed in a

variety of healthcare settings

including hospitals, ambulatory care

settings, long-term care facilities,

home health agencies, private duty

opportunities, and other healthcare

settings.

Program Length: 16 to 24 months

A.S.  Nursing degree program providesstudents theoretical, clinical hands-ontraining and practical experiences in avariety of healthcare settings neededto enter into a fulfilling career as anurse.

Students will learn how to care for thephysical and emotional well-being ofpatients, protect patient’s safety andpersonal rights, develop criticalthinking skills. Graduates are eligibleto take the NCLEX-RN exam requiredto work as a Registered Nurse (RN).
