The recommended power supply for the above non-powered horizontal units is the Hoefer PS300B (see page 70).

The new HE-PLUS is completely integrated with a built-in variable powersupply and provides a compact easy-to-use horizontal electrophoresis system for the separation of nucleic acids. An LED display enables easy viewing of thevoltage, amperage, and time. Also featured is a 99:59 minute timer with anaudible end of run alert.

The HE-PLUS offers a high throughput 96 well format with multichannel pipettecompatible combs for the direct loading of samples in a small footprint. The systemcomes complete with four 14/28 well combs, three gel trays, and an externalcasting stand. The horizontal tank is made of rugged polycarbonate and has avented lid to reduce condensation so the run can be visually monitored.
