IFMIF has many needs for nuclear data
• IFMIF neutrons– Activation to 50 MeV– Gas production to 50 MeV – e.g. no Molybdenum– Neutron transport in sample environment– Displacements -- e.g. file MT=444
• IFMIF deuterons (and protons??)– Probably lots of data needs: e.g. D+Cu, etc.
• Source reaction – – It is what it is; do we need to know it better
• Imaging of source for beam steering and focusing

Nuclear data measurements at LANSCE are made with several instruments
LSDSDouble Frisch-grid fission chamber; also standard fission ion chamber; new detector station for fission and (n,alpha)

N,Z double-differential cross sections are studied with “standard” detector telescopes

We measure hydrogen and helium production cross sections for the Advanced Fuel Cycle Initiative
These data differentiate among evaluations

Helium production data is being measured for several materials for neutron energies up to 100 MeV

Recapitulate: IFMIF has many needs for nuclear data
• IFMIF neutrons– Activation to 50 MeV – GEANIE relevance– Gas production to 50 MeV – (n,z) – ENDF file incomplete– Neutron transport in sample environment - FIGARO– Displacements -- e.g. file MT=444
• IFMIF deuterons (and protons??)– Probably lots of data needs: e.g. D+Cu, etc.
• Source reaction – – It is what it is; do we need to know it better
• Imaging of source for beam steering and focusing
