Welcome and Thank You
This weekend, Culture Days is being celebrated across Canada in hundreds of cities and towns from coast to coast with thousands of free activities taking place in some 800 communities. This includes over 75 events that will take place right here in North Vancouver and West Vancouver as part of North Shore Culture Days.
Our diverse community is fertile ground for artistic activity. Creativity is nurtured within many sectors and we’re thrilled to see so many local artists and cultural groups, as well as hotels, cafes and creative businesses, opening their doors to participate in North Shore Culture Days.
We extend a big thank you to our North Shore Culture Days partners – the City and District of North Vancouver (through the Arts Offi ce), the District of West Vancouver, North Vancouver District Public Library, North Vancouver City Library, West Vancouver Memorial Library, Vancouver North Shore Tourism, and a big bravo to our creative friends at the North Shore News.
Culture Days is the largest-ever collective public participation campaign undertaken by the arts and cultural community in this country and Vancouver’s North Shore is thrilled to be playing its part.
