Greetings! It is my pleasure to congratulate you on qualifying for the NJCAA Division III Women’s Volleyball Championship Tournament. We are delighted to host this prestigious tournament and we hope your stay will be enjoyable. Rochester, Minnesota is annually named as one of the Best Places to Live in America by Money Magazine, and other publications, recognized by America's Promise - The Alliance for Youth as one of the 100 Best Communities for Young People and has in the past been named the #1 City in America. All America City, Star City and other recognition has been given to our city as well. One of our main strengths as a community is the genuine hospitality offered to our visitors and guests. With over a quarter of a million people coming to Rochester annually, we are geared towards hospitality and service. With a population of 114,000 we are able to foster this "small town" friendliness in the midst of big city amenities. We have developed and are further enhancing our downtown area into a center for business, the arts and entertainment. The Mayo Clinic and its partnership with the University of Minnesota, IBM and other large science and technology businesses help create an environment that is not only unique to Minnesota but, indeed, the country. We hope after your stay in Rochester that you will agree there is something special going on here. Your visit to Rochester is a very special event for all of us and we hope you have a very memorable experience. Thank you for being here.
