Classes are in full swing and all of our competition classes have begun work on their choreography

for their group dances for competition this spring.

It is important that throughout the next few months your child attend classes so they do not get behind

on their choreography. If your child is sick and unable to attend their regular classes it is imperative that they

get together with another student to catch up on what they missed!

COLORING CONTEST We will be holding a coloring contest for

all the dancers. Starting next Friday we

will hand out the colouring sheets to all

dancers. We will be drawing the winners the second week of December. Prizes will

be awarded to the fol lowing age

categories 3-6 year olds, 7-9 year olds,

10-12 year olds and 13 and up.

We can’t wait to see all of your other artistic talents!! Sharpen those pencil

crayons!

DANCE FEES, STATEMENTS AND OUTSTANDING ACCOUNTS

All post dated cheques must be into the office NOW. Statements will be printed and handed out the third week of classes. We will be sending home your income tax statements at the end of January. Please keep your account up to date. We will be implementing a new administration fee of $40 for each account that is overdue. We hope everyone understands we truly do not want to have to enforce this matter.

Festival Entry Fees for Groups & Solos,

Duos, Trios Festival entry fees can be paid at anytime at the front desk and are due NO LATER then November 15th for both competitions. If you fail to pay for your child’s festival fees before this date they will not be entered. Your family fee totals are at the front desk so please see one of the staff during office hours to pay!! You may be able to pay in two instalments, second 1/2 posted no later then Nov 30th

FESTIVAL PRIVATES & STUDIO ROOM BOOKINGS It is your responsibility to make sure you know your time and day and week of your private. If you cannot make your private YOU must find someone to switch with or you will be billed for the missed lesson. All rescheduling or switching of privates must be done through

MISS KANDIS ONLY. All privates schedules will be posted on FACEBOOK. They do tend to change so make sure you are checking frequently to see if your times have moved etc.

Don’t forget once you start learning your solo, duo, etc it is your responsibility to be practicing at home so you are prepared for your next private having your instructor review instead of using your time to move forward to the next section.

You can book studio space at the front desk to practice your privates. Open spaces are available at the following times :

Tues 8:30-9:30pm, Wed 7;45-9:30pm, Friday 7:30-9:30pm, Saturday 9:30 am - 3pm

Once music has been cut Miss Christina can either email you your music or you can bring in a labelled USB memory stick and she can place all of your music on their.

PARENT VIEWING We will be holding parent viewing this year during the first week of December from Nov 22-26th. We ask that all students only bring with them 1 or 2 guests as the rooms get to crowded and loud if there are too many in our audience and becomes a distraction to the dancers. You are allowed to take pictures and video during class just please make sure you are not a distraction to those around you!

Dance Apparel Orders Hoody Orders have been sent in to the company and we are expecting them to be in to the studio around the middle of November. If your order was for a Christmas present please let the front staff know so we don’t hand it out to your child!

Birthday Parties If you are looking for a fun idea for

your child’s next birthday party don’t forget about our dance parties. We have

many packages available for you to choose from. Go to our website, click on the link for birthday parties and

check out all the details. Parties available Saturday 4-7, Thursdays 6-8 & all day Sundays. Contact the front desk
