Hello Readers,

Welcome to the November issue of Coast2Coast. The first issues of Coast2Coast have been

warmly welcomed by readers and advertisers alike and we would like to thank everyone in South-

port for the lovely comments we have received from you all.

We had a few teething problems with the printers which has resulted in the slight delay with this

publication but we have now sourced another printing company and trust that you will enjoy your

future editions of Coast2Coast.

This months feature article (page 10) is on local businessman Trevor Womack who has developed our own web

site for us at Coast2Coast. Please check it out for yourselves and feel free to leave a comment on our ‘contact

us’ form.

Coast2Coast were contacted in August by Sebastian Morgan-Green, a student of Formby High School. Sebastian

told us about an exciting venture that was taking place to raise funds so that a group of students from the

school could go to Tanzania, South Africa on a four week expedition. The students will be taking part in commu-

nity development work, wildlife conservation and trekking to the summit of Mount Meru. Coast2Coast believe

that this form of ‘community spirit’ should be encouraged and have agreed to make a donation from each and

every advert sale in our magazine. We have also helped the students raise some of the funds that they need by

engaging them to deliver the magazine in the Formby area. The students need to raise £3,500 each, if you

would like to make a donation to the fund or if you can help the Students with sponsorship please contact Miss

Jenny Howard, Lead Teacher, on 01704 873 100.

Coast2Coast will be following the progress of the fund-raising and will update you on the students achieve-

ments when they undertake this once in a lifetime experience and we would welcome readers feedback on
