Bill was presented by administration for approximately $6,323.64 to cover LAFS/MAFS materials however $5,000 was budgeted.
We are asking for permission to move $1700 to pay the bill.
“I move that the budget be amended to add $1700 to Lower School Curriculum to cover ELA (LAFS/MAFS) Materials.”
“I second the motion (Stacy Kotzen).”
“Are there any questions or discussion?” Principal Roberts explained the ELA (LAFS/MAFS materials) and the rationale for increase.
“If there are no further questions, I move that the budget be amended to add $1700 to Lower School Curriculum to cover ELA (LAFS/MAFS) Materials.
All in favor, please say aye. All opposed, say nay.”
“The proposed amendment to the budget has passed unanimously .”

We raised $33, 627.66
5 % back to two organizations ( two schools chosen) Students, parents and staff will help to create a garden at Martin Luther King Montessori
and Lloyd Estates Elementary.
Budget for project is $1813.00. We will try to get donations for soil and some of the materials to make up for the $132 deficit.
Originally scheduled as a fundraiser.
Due to success of green walk it was made a collaborative family event. Booster, Drama, MMUN and FFEA/Safety Patrol participated.
Pizza sold by PTSA to help offset cost.
Expense: $1412.53 (decorations, pizza, candy etc.)
Income: $1132.00 (pizza sales)
Thank you to all the parents that volunteered their time, cars, and sent in candy.

Thank you to everyone who contributed in making this event a success. We had an amazing outpour of support last week which will help so many in our BMV community.

Each lower school class or specials adoption is $200. Each upper school class or elective
adoption is $50. The 2016-2017 Adopt-a-Class form is available under the
“Adopt-a-Class” tab at www.BMVPTSA.org. If you’d like to make an adoption, please
fill out the form and submit it with payment to your child’s teacher. You can also make
your donation online through the PTSA store.

Session 2 Registration Now Open!Register now for fee-based after school enrichment classes for Beachside students in PreK4-8th grades. ALL programs are now open to PreK students. Classes include:•Basketball•Engineering•Mind Lab•Robotics•SpanishSession 2 classes run from November 28-February 24.
