Dear Parents, It’s hard to believe it’s already November! The year is going by so quickly! Thank you for continuing to get your child to school on-time each day. Thank you so much to the parents that came out to help at our Fall Carnival!! Please continue to monitor your child’s homework and check their folder each night, and to use iStation and DreamBox to help reinforce Language Arts and Math skills for your child at home. Even as we begin to tackle more challenging academic concepts, our practice in developing the social and emotional skills of the students remains paramount, because these are the skills that facilitate learning in o u r m u l t i l i n g u a l & m u l t i c u l t u r a l environment. So, we thank you for your patience and ability to recognize the ‘little’, everyday successes, as well as for your commitment to your child’s education.

Please review and empty your child’s take-home folder everyday, placing any note, money, or document for the teacher INSIDE the binder, and not loose in the backpack.

Please sign and return your child’s Wednesday folder each week.

Please send a note (signed & dated) to the front office for any day, or part of day, that your child misses school.

Cool weather has arrived! Please help us keep track of your child’s jackets, hats, gloves, scarves and sweaters by writing their name on each item.

Favor de ayudar a su hijo a repasar LOS SONIDOS INICIALES y LAS SÍLABAS en casa diariamente.

Recordatorios Por favor revise y vacíe la carpeta

de su niño todos los días. Por favor firme y devuelva la carpeta del

miércoles de su hijo cada semana. Recuerde mandar una nota cuando su

niño falte a la escuela o lo recoja temprano. Se le puede penalizar después de 10 faltas sin excusa.

Tiempo más fresco ha llegado. Ayude a su niño mantener bien su chaqueta, suéter, gorro o guantes. Hable con él/ella establecer una rutina para el uso y cuidado de la ropa exterior y escriba el nombre en cada artículo.

También, favor de asegurarse que su hijo/a tiene un cambio de ropa en el salón de clases.

Estimadas familias,

¡Es difícil creer que ya es noviembre! ¡El año va tan rápido! Gracias por continuar llevando a su hijo a la escuela a tiempo todos los días. ¡Muchas gracias a los padres que vinieron a ayudar en nuestro Carnaval de Otoño! Entendemos que a veces no es fácil encontrar el tiempo unirse, pero la comunicación regular con la maestra de su hijo es de lo más importancia es por eso que damos muchas gracias a todos los padres que asistieron a las conferencias. Asi nos aseguramos que su hijo/a reciba el apoyo específico que necesita en la casa tan como en la escuela. Continúe supervisando la tarea de su hijo y revisando su carpeta cada noche, y use iStation y DreamBox para ayudar a reforzar las habilidades de lenguaje y matemáticas en casa. Recuerde que a medida que comenzamos a introducir conceptos académicos más desafiantes, nuestra práctica en el desarrollo de las habilidades sociales y emocionales de los estudiantes es primordial, porque estas son las habilidades que facilitan el aprendizaje en nuestro ambiente multilingüe y multicultural. Agradecemos su paciencia y su apoyo en casa , así como su compromiso a la educación de su hijo.
