Outlook for December

Despite the distraction of holiday festivities the Manhattan Beach real estate market produced fairly

respectable stats in November, with 4.4% or $92.5K increase in the market median sales price and

24.9% bump in the sales/listing ratio. Trending counter to this news, however, included a 12.5%

reduction in total properties sold and 23% drop in new listings. “Am I surprised?” you ask. Not at all; in

fact, I speculated this likelihood would occur last month. Furthermore, given this data and the time of

year I expect to see similar performance numbers for December.
