Weekly Preschool Programs
Sparkling STEMs (starting 9/13): Science-related activities. Tuesdays at 10:30 am
Little Learners: Story, craft and snack. Thursdays at 10:30 am
Wee Move: Music & movement, led by Applause Dance Academy. Fridays at 10:30 am

Sept. to May: the Mt. LeKid climbing wall is open Saturdays & Sundays only. Full coverage footwear required.
September 5-9: MUSEUM CLOSED for fall cleaning & maintenance. Regular hours resume on September 10.
Saturdays, September 3 & 17, October 1 & 15: Meet pet therapy dog, Mishka, 10 am. Included with admission.
Saturday, September 10, 11 am to 2 pm: Beyond the Backpack. Measure, match & more and take home a Nick Jr.
Beyond the Backpack Kindergarten Readiness booklet (while supplies last). Included with admission.
Saturday, September 17: National Day of Play. Special games and activities, 11 am to 2 pm. Included with admission.
Saturday, September 17: Tri-Quest Run Bike Golf, 8:00 am. $100 per person. Register individually or as part of a team. Proceeds
will benefit the Family & Children’s Center. www.tri-quest.org.
Saturday, September 24: The Color Run 5K in Riverside Park. The Children's Museum will receive a donation from this
event. Volunteers needed: [email protected].
October 1 to December 31: Hello from Japan! traveling
exhibit. Included with Museum admission.
Saturday, October 1: Meet author/illustrator Craig Kunce, 11:00-11:30 am. Included with admission.
Fridays, October 7 or 21: Night (out) at the Museum, 5:30-8:00 pm. Supervised Museum play for ages 3-9 without
adult. Pre-registration and pre-payment required. $11 per child Museum members / $16 per child non-members.
Saturday, October 8: Historic Downtown La Crosse Day. Fun for the whole family throughout downtown La Crosse.

October 22, 28 or 29: BOOseum GLOW Halloween party, 5:30-7 pm. Choose any date for a non-scary Halloween
party with games, glow-in-the-dark fun, Museum play, prizes & more for ages 2-9. Costumes welcome but not required. Pre
registration & pre-payment required. $5 per child Museum members/$12 per child non-Member. Adults $1 (1 adult required
per 5 children).
