Large numbers of motorhomes coming to Mull can create difficulties on our narrow roads and parking places. So please: Camp only at the appropriate camp sites on the map overleaf. Plan ahead – contact the site prior to arrival to ensure there is space for you. Please do NOT empty chemical toilet waste anywhere except at the waste disposal sites shown overleaf. Public toilets are not suitable locations. Do not start fires unless in an approved area. Please clear litter, even if it’s not yours. Respect our wildlife and environment. Do not obstruct entrances, passing places or homes. Beware of soft verges and stay on tarmac. Drive as slowly as you wish, but please let traffic behind pass you. www.visitmullandiona.co.uk In particular, please note that there is no such thing as “wild camping” in Scotland in a motorhome or campervan. The Scottish Outdoor Access Code specifically excludes motorised access. This means that if you are parking in an area out-with established campsites you do not have permission to stay there and you may be asked to leave by the landowner.
