Northville’s chapter of 100 Women Who Care have only met four times since their inception in May 2017, yet in the first three meetings alone, over $50,000 was raised for local charities. Please come join they’re next meeting on Monday May 7, 2018 at The Garage in downtown Northville at 6:30 pm. For more information about how it works, check out 100womenwhocarenorthville.weebly.com.

At the last 100 Women Who Care meeting, held on Monday February 5, 2017, the winning charity was “Homes for Our Troops”, (HFOT), a local 501(c)(3). The mission of Homes for Our Troops is to build and donate specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post 9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives. Most of these Veterans have sustained injuries including multiple limb amputations, partial

or full paralysis, and/or severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). These homes restore some of the freedom and independence our Veterans sacrificed while defending our country, and enable them to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding their lives. HFOT is working in collaboration with the Northville High School Baseball Program to build a home for Sgt. Michael Gower of Middleville, MI. All monies raised during the Armed Forces Celebration, which will be the week of May 15-19, and all monies raised at the 100 Women Who Care meeting will go towards building Sgt. Ripcord by David Lindsay-Abaire Ripcord plays from March 22-April 22, 2018. Abby isn’t known for her friendliness at Bristol Place Senior Living Facility, and that’s just the way she likes it. After all, when nobody wants to be your roommate, you get a double room with a view all to yourself. When Marilyn moves in, with her cheery disposition and optimistic outlook, Abby knows she’ll need to break her if she wants her privacy back. But Marilyn isn’t going down without a fight. And that’s when they make “The Bet.” How far will they go in this hilarious escalation of pranks, tricks, and attacks?
