From Your Pastor…
Patriotism is special around NABC. I hope
you will plan to be here for the “special pa-
triotic service” which will be held on July 7
in our morning worship. God has given us a
great nation and we will celebrate His good-
ness and faithfulness to us.
Please continue to pray for our mission projects throughout the
summer. One is from Bruce and Kathy Byce’s organization
where many people will be going to Rattlesnake Ridge, Ken-
tucky. That will be from July 7-12. On July 11 and 12 NABC
will participate with Anderson Interfaith Ministries (AIM) in
packing and giving out meals to children in our area. And, our
all church mission project is our VBS starting at 5:30 pm –
8:30 pm on Sunday night July 28 – Wednesday night July
31.
Another great thing is happening in July. We are having a
Family Night Movie on Friday evening July 12 at 6 pm in our
gym. We will be watching the very first movie of the Kendrick
Brothers called “Flywheel.”
Lynda and I pray that you will have a wonderful, Christ
filled Summer.

From our Administrator & Educator...
Are you available? It is summer and many things
happen during the summer months. Children are out
of school. We have our children’s program every
Tuesday morning, summer camps, VBS, and every
summer the nominating committee starts enlisting
people to help teach and lead our church. We are the
church; the body of Christ and you are a member. If you are serving,
thank you. If you are not serving, ask yourself where your gifts and tal-
ents are and then seek out to serve.
Our VBS theme this year is “In the Wild”. We will be learning about the
amazing encounters with Jesus., We will be encountering Jesus in the
Temple, at the River, on the Water, at the Tomb, and on the Road. Please
come join us July 28 – 31. If you want to help with VBS please contact
the Carvers or myself, we are open to any leaders and helpers. Also, we
will be decorating the Church the week prior to the 28th. Please feel free
to come out and help. It is going to be an amazing time for our children,
youth and adults!!!
Please mark your calendars for Sunday October 20th. This will be our
Homecoming celebrating 80 years. The theme is “Looking Back . . .
Moving Forward.”
